Exterior painting for Toronto homes that actually see winter
We're a working crew, not a call centre. We look at your walls, tell you what's really going on, and paint it right the first time.

Toronto weather is hard on paint. We get lake humidity off the water in summer, then a freeze-thaw cycle all winter that finds every crack in old brick and every gap around new-build siding. That's the whole job, right there.
Old housing stock
Semis in Leslieville, brick two-storeys in the Junction, character homes near the Beaches — a lot of Toronto's paint sits over lead-era layers and lime mortar. We test, we prep accordingly, we don't just roll over it.
New-build subdivisions
Vinyl and fibre-cement siding out in the newer pockets of the city still needs the right primer and the right temperature window, or the coating fails inside two seasons.
Condo and low-rise trim
Balcony railings, soffits, and shared hallway trim take a beating from salt spray off winter roads. We match coatings to what the surface actually has to survive.
Humidity off the lake
Days near the waterfront run wetter than inland. We time exterior coats around dew point, not just the forecast temperature, so paint cures instead of blistering.

Freeze-thaw doesn't forgive a rushed paint job
A lot of exterior paint failure in this city isn't bad paint — it's paint applied at the wrong time, over the wrong surface, without proper caulking. Water gets behind a coating, freezes, expands, and you're looking at peeling and cracked caulk lines within a year or two. We see it constantly on homes that got a rush job before a quick sale or before winter set in.
We work around the season, not against it
We check surface moisture and overnight lows before we commit to exterior work, we scrape and prime bare wood properly, and we use exterior caulk rated for our swing between plus 30 and minus 20. It costs a bit more time up front. It saves you a repaint in three years.

Questions we hear a lot
Do you paint through the winter in Toronto?
Interior work, yes, year-round. Exterior work needs surface temperatures above about 10 degrees Celsius for most coatings to cure properly, so we schedule exterior jobs from spring through fall and plan interior work for the colder months.
Can I reach you without a phone call?
Yes — email is how we prefer to work. Send us your address and scope and we'll set up a walkthrough and get you a written quote.
Do you handle older Toronto homes with lead-era paint layers?
We do. Older brick and plaster homes across the city often have multiple paint generations underneath. We test and follow proper containment and disposal practices before any sanding or scraping.
How far out of Toronto do you travel?
We cover the whole GTA — Peel, York, Halton and Durham regions included, not just the downtown core.
Do you supply the paint or do I?
We supply materials as part of the quote, matched to the surface and the season. If you've already picked a specific product or colour, we're happy to work with what you've got.
